LLMO: Liquid Live Micro Organisms There are many ways to manage lakes and bodies of water. LLMO is a live bacterial treatment for algae control and lake water management. Increasing use of fertilizers results to nutrient overload of nitrogen and phosphorus causing algae bloom. Additionally, increase in organic sludge at the bottom of the water emits bad odor. The goal of LLMO is to introduce useful bacteria into the water to compete with algae for nutrients. Through this starvation process and the conversion of organic compounds into CO2 and water, oxygen level is increased and the odor is decrease and later on eliminated.
